Where can I learn everything there is to know about car engines and other parts and how they work?

My new boyfriend is into cars like really bad. He has a camaro that is suped up and its awesome. Now I can bull my way through a conversation enough to sound like I about cars and wheels and cam shafts and exhausts and stuff. But honestly, I HAVE NO CLUE! But I am interested in learning all about it. I just dont know how to go about doing so. HELP!

I love Camaro’s, Firebird’s, Mustang’s and, Capri’s. I dont like it when people say ford **** buy a chevy. You know what I HAVE a Chevy and like it. Or when they say chevy **** buy a ford. There both fuckking awesome cars.

How long does it take for a well maintained, new vehicle to cool off to the point that the hood is cooll, and the metal has stopped clinking?

Is there any way to keep the interior of a car cool with ice?

My old 240Z doesn’t have air conditioning, and I live in a very hot/humid climate. Would it work to put a bag of ice over the intake into the cabin? I’ve heard that people used to do that a long time ago. Another idea I had was to get a 12V fan that somehow blows through the ice in the rear hatch. Anyone else ever tried anything like this?

Hey, So my brother knows like everything there is about cars. My friends know a good amount too, but i don’t know like anything. I am really interested in knowing about cars because they are awesome. Where can i look to start… I know like nothing about cars so I would like to find a “guide” or something to teach me the basics to the advanced. Thanks

How can i cool off my car with no air conditioner?

I have a 1999 Plymouth neon with no air conditioner…its not that its broken it just does not have one at all. It’s so hot in there everyday with the windows down and with a little fan blowing on me. is there any other way i can cool down my car so its not as misrible to drive?

Ive heard that AUTO COOL thing off of tv doesnt work. is there anything else like that that helps? Besides a visor?
