Finally got to see what the old NSRT4 can do down the quarter mile.
(No Nawzzz)Unfortunately it was my old skittles' new owner who garnished the impressive time slip out in Miramichi N.B. last month.
time slip (car on the left "G.Dion")
Always knew the skittle was quick. It's all in the 60ft baby !
Now gotta work on the SRT8...got a lot of weight to shed &
bolt-ons to install to bring it up to speed....

Toyota is reportedly planning to build a sedan based on the FT-86/FR-S compact sports car that has gripped the attention of auto enthusiasts since its debut at the Tokyo Auto Show last year.
According to Australian outlet CarsGuide, the sedan model was planned all along as a way to spread the sports car’s development costs across a wider group, while also acting as an insurance policy should one of the models fail to catch on in the marketplace.
And as strange as making a four-door out of a coupe sounds, we should remember that the FT-86 is actually based on a sedan (Subaru Legacy) platform.
The FT-86 Sedan would be one of few rear-drive four-doors in the Toyota/Lexus lineup and would be smaller in size than the Lexus IS models.
As for an engine, it would likely share a powerplant with the coupe, although CarsGuide does suggest that in the future it could use with the Subaru 3.6-liter six-cylinder or a new hybrid boxer engine (Sounds kind of like the FT-CH Concept, doesn’t it).
Ferrari has issued an official recall for its 458 Italia following a spate of fires that destroyed a handful of cars.
Speaking to TopGear.com, a Ferrari spokesman said the company had investigated the five reported incidents of spontaneous fires in the 458, and traced the problem to materials in the wheel arch lining and heat shield.
According to Ferrari, the glue securing the wheel arch lining and heat shield can melt and deform when under high operating temperatures. When this comes into contact with the exhaust, "the glue can smoke and the wheel arch liner can ignite".
Ferrari has notified all 458 owners informing them of the fix - which takes around half a day - and involves securing the wheel arch liner with bolts and screws instead of glue. All future 458 Italias will be built in this way.
The spokesman confirmed "1,248 Ferrari 458 Italias have been recalled worldwide, with approximately 50 in the UK".
The five "acknowledged" 458s totally destroyed by fire will be replaced, Ferrari said, "at no cost to the client".
Whilst the majority of concept cars never mange to reach it to production, or even to a point where they “might” go to production, that does not mean they are lost for ever. Hyundai and many other manufacturers use a lot of the design and mechanical features from their concepts in their newer vehicles.
Hyundai has been promising that they will replace the Tiburon with a new, updated vehicle. It was considered as an extremely sporty coupe model, so it's expected that the new model will be the same. According to the car manufacturing giant, they will be launching the new vehicle at the North American International Auto Show. The show takes place in January in Detroit.
By the looks of things so far, it looks like a lot of the design and mechanical aspects of the vehicle have been taken from the concept range at Hyundai. The likes of the Veloster concept car looks to have been a fantastic inspiration for this vehicle, so expect the specs to be something similar.
The Tiburon has been marked as a slightly budget vehicle. The only thing that suggests that this vehicle is a budget one is the price. Apart from that it offers users something that is extremely appealing to the naked eye, alongside a vehicle that has some extremely high specs. Of course, many of these features have come directly from the concept.
So what can people expect when the Tiburon by Hyundai eventually comes out? Well, to start with, we figure that they have done the right thing by incorporating a front wheel drive system. The car is not for sure suited to a rear wheel drive system and certainly not to a four wheel drive system.
The structure of the drive along side the impressive engine specifications means that Hyundai has produced a vehicle designed for the city runs. It's comfortable, yet also eco friendly, which makes it the perfect car for every day use!
Full specifications for the vehicle have not yet been confirmed. Like many new releases, it's likely that closer to its debut, more facts and figures will be released.
